Jim has over 20 years of experience in several high growth segments of the communication semiconductor industry in a variety of executive business leadership roles.
Prior to Amalfi, Jim was responsible for Broadcom’s entry into the Fast Ethernet switching market. Jim drove the overall vision and business strategy of the highly successful ROBOswitch product family, which achieved greater than 65% market share and revenues surpassed the $100M. Jim was also responsible for several of the M&A acquisitions positioning Broadcom to become the dominant silicon player in stackable workgroup switches. This overall product line has grown from zero in 1998 to greater than $300M in revenue today.
Before Broadcom Jim held positions including President/GM of S3’s Japan subsidiary and other senior management positions at Crystal Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices. |
