Professional Background
Jim Christianson began his career with E.W. Blanch Co. in 1981, working initially in accounting and claims, and later becoming a reinsurance broker. He was part of an E. W. Blanch unit formed by Collins Chairman John Collins that focused entirely on agricultural reinsurance business.
Mr. Christianson left E.W. Blanch in 1987 to join the newly formed Collins brokerage, and has been with the company from its first day of business. Throughout his Collins career he has been a reinsurance broker, placing agricultural business as well as other property-casualty business.
Mr. Christianson holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. |
