Jim Cassie Lobbyist. For the last 25 years, Jim Cassie has worked with virtually all levels of state government on an array of issues, with a primary focus on the electric and gas industry.
Mr. Cassie has developed a substantial background working with the California Energy Commission, as well as the California Legislature, state boards and agencies, and the Governor's Office that include its reporting departments. At the end of 2000, he retired after more than 30 years of service to Sempra Energy and its predecessor company, San Diego Gas & Electric. Mr. Cassie has an extensive understanding of the utility industry in general and, specifically, the California electric restructuring laws and their recent implementation.
Born in San Diego, Mr. Cassie resides in Sacramento and is a graduate of San Diego State University. |
