Since 1993, Jim has been working with Microsoft Partner firms providing consulting services around Microsoft's server products. Jim has served in every capacity from being a consultant, to providing pre-sales consulting services, to managing a team of consultants as the Microsoft Practice Manager both locally in Houston and Regionally across the Southwest. As the Microsoft Practice Manager, he was responsible for managing consultants that focused exclusively on providing services for Microsoft's server products, specifically Windows Server and Exchange Server. This Practice, under Jim's management, became one of Microsoft's premier partners in the Houston area and was awarded Microsoft Partner of the Year status for 1997 and 1998. Jim's team was one of the first Partners in Houston to participate in the Windows 2000 Rapid Deployment Program and continued that focus in bringing early adopter customers to Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003. As Technology Director, his focus is to work with customers on developing the appropriate technology solution for their business needs. As well, he continues to be engaged with the customer after the project's inception to ensure that Kommar Solutions continues to deliver high-value solutions that meet the customer's requirements |
