Jim Bridges, President and CEO of Software Engineering Services Corporation (SES), an Information Technology services and process engineering consulting company established in Bellevue, Nebraska, in 1992.
Under his direction and management, SES has established an excellent track record in the performance of numerous state and federal government contracts in the areas of missile warning/defense, weather, C4ISR, Joint Information Operations Warfare Center, Medicaid, Medicare and other business domains. Mr. Bridges is considered a system authority and expert both in process engineering and organizational change management, especially in the area of process improvements (implementation and sustainment). Mr. Bridges is a driving force in SES’ achievement of high levels of organizational process maturity in the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI). SES is a SEI appraised Level 3
organization, with plans of attaining Level 5 in 3rd Quarter of 2008. SES has teamed with Serena and developed a CMMI automated workflow tool (Process-Trak CMMI). SES is currently developing automated workflow toolsets for Project Management Office (PMO) and ITIL. Mr. Bridges has more than 25 years of program management and project management experience including extensive experience with establishing project offices, project reviews, JAD facilitation, and project manager/leadership mentoring and training. Mr. Bridges has directed SES down the path of high-performing project teams and has successfully integrated a Team/Project approach thereby focusing on both project delivery and team/resource management. Mr. Bridges is the Corporate Executive Sponsor for both the SES Project Management Office and Quality Manage Office (both utilize proprietary executive dashboards reflecting results of detailed performance
metrics). Mr. Bridges spent 6 years in the US Air Force as a Nuclear Wargames Analyst/Officer and the last 24 in the Nebraska Air National Guard and US Air Force Reserves as a Senior AF Communications/Intel Officer. Mr. Bridges received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Masters in Business Management from Central Michigan University. |
