Jim Blome is executive vice president, Coastal Division, a position he has held since December, 2006. He is responsible for management oversight of all Agriliance Coastal Sales wholesale and retail operations and ProSource One. He joined Agriliance in January, 2002, as vice president, Agriliance South, and was promoted to vice president, Coastal Division in July, 2003.
Prior to joining Agriliance, Jim was general manager of Nufarm Ltd., Houston, Texas. He’s also held various marketing, sales and management positions with FMC, and Griffin, LLC. In 1998 he became president of Agtrol International in Houston, which was later acquired by NuFarm.
Jim grew up in Hubbard, Iowa, and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in agronomy from Iowa State University. He earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Northern Iowa, and completed additional studies at Philadelphia’s Wharton School of Business. |
