Jim Banks is Executive Vice President, Co-Head, Capital Markets of IndyMac Bancorp, Inc. (Indymac®) and IndyMac Bank, F.S.B. (Indymac Bank®). Joining Indymac in 1996, Mr. Banks has served as President of Indymac’s Conduit Division, Chief Operating Officer of Indymac's non-prime mortgage division, and managed production, operations and secondary marketing for IndyMac. Prior to joining IndyMac Bank, Mr. Banks spent eight years with Commerce Security Bank, a state chartered bank in Sacramento, California. While at Commerce, Mr. Banks managed secondary marketing for the commercial and residential divisions, and ultimately managed the entire mortgage business. Mr. Banks also managed the commercial participation business for Sacramento Savings Bank. Mr. Banks graduated with honors from California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. degree in Finance and minor in Economics. |
