Ms. Jill Thompson, executive vice president and general manager is responsible for the leadership of the company’s Homeland Security business unit. She leads the development and marketing of the company’s information technology services and solutions, providing agencies within the Department of Homeland Security with the technical infrastructure they require to achieve their missions.
Ms. Thompson has been with the company since 1992 and has held a wide variety of positions supporting the company’s federal IT business. Until October 2003, Ms. Thompson was the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program manager for Apogen (then ITS Services). In this position, she provided oversight and technical direction to nearly 20 concurrent tasks with an annual value of approximately $20 million. She was also responsible for the direct supervision of five task leaders and had overall responsibility for more than 100 personnel, including engineers, analysts, developers, programmers, technicians and subject matter experts.
Prior to assuming that position, Ms. Thompson was a senior requirements analyst responsible for providing acquisition-support services through Apogen to CBP for acquisition of information technology resources, including hardware, software and technical support services.
Prior to joining Apogen, Ms. Thompson provided support to the acquisition staff at Customs. In her position, she was responsible for ensuring compliance with Treasury and other federal regulations. Ms. Thompson attended the University of Kentucky. |
