Since September 1997, Jill Lyons has been responsible for the strategic direction and management of ISS' Corporate Services. Ms. Lyons currently leads a 25-member team providing tools, education and advisory services designed to help companies improve their corporate governance practices. She is responsible for the creation and development of many of ISS' corporate solutions including ISS' Corporate Governance Quotient (CGQ), the leading rating system for evaluating corporate governance risk, and Compass, a tool for measuring the cost of stock-based incentive plans Between 1991 and August 1997, Ms. Lyons directed ISS' U.S. Proxy Advisory Service, during which time analytical coverage expanded from the S&P 500 to more than 8,500 companies annually. She managed all aspects of internal research operations and the creation of proxy voting policies. Prior to joining ISS in 1991, Ms. Lyons worked as an equity analyst at 13-D Research, a New York-based investment research firm. Ms. Lyons earned her M.B.A. in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
