Jessica Yaffie Leveroni practices in Sherin and Lodgen’s Real Estate Department, representing clients in all aspects of commercial real estate including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, operation and development of various types of real property and real property interests. She regularly represents financial institutions, developers and retailers in the negotiation, drafting and analysis of commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documentation and other ownership, use and operating agreements.
Ms. Leveroni previously served as an associate in the real estate section of another major Boston law firm, and as counsel and assistant vice president in the real estate law group of a national life insurance company, advising its investment professionals in connection with the mortgage financing of apartment, office, industrial and retail properties throughout the country.
Ms. Leveroni earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was a member and an editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. After graduating from law school, Ms. Leveroni served as the law clerk to the Honorable Robert L. Krechevsky, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Connecticut.
Ms. Leveroni is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. She is an active member of New England Women in Real Estate (NEWIRE), serving on its Community Involvement Committee, and a member of the Boston Bar Association. |
