Jessica A. duHoffmann is a principal in the Baltimore office of Miles & Stockbridge. Ms. duHoffmann practices in the area of commercial and business litigation with a focus on construction law, mechanics’ liens, bond claims and the representation of financial institutions in consumer and commercial matters. Ms. duHoffmann also assists retail clients and clients in the construction business with licensing and training issues relative to consumer laws and home improvement. She frequently gives in-house seminars on issues such as commercial and consumer credit and collections, mechanics’ liens and construction law. Ms. duHoffmann also has assisted national retail clients with drafting agreements and retail forms. Ms. duHoffmann also has an active pro-bono practice assisting clients in the area of family law. She represents individuals, who otherwise would not be able to afford counsel, in important domestic matters, such as child-custody, visitation, child-support and domestic violence. She also volunteers as a mentor for inner-city youths.
