Twu has held senior management positions with Prometheus BioSciences, MDS-Molecular Devices, Invitrogen and Bayer-Schering Pharma. Dr. Twu was involved in the development of Betaseron® for multiple sclerosis, HEV vaccine for viral hepatitis E infection, CISH® technology for clinical cancer diagnostics, as well as FLIPR® technology and the associated screening platforms for drug discovery and development. Dr. Twu has authored more than 20 publications in peer-review journals. He is the inventor for 12 issued patents and published applications. Dr. Twu was a co-founder of Genex Corporation, a US contract research and manufacturing organization for biopharmaceuticals. Dr. Twu received his Ph.D. from Indiana University and post-doctoral training in Dr. William S. Robinson's laboratory at Stanford University School of Medicine. |
