Jesse Hammock’s practice primarily involves advising clients regarding, and litigating, general commercial, employment and land use matters on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Mr. Hammock has also represented an Eastern Shore municipality both with regard to Critical Areas and general zoning litigation, and in an advisory capacity, including representation of the municipal board of zoning appeals. Mr. Hammock’s employment practice has included drafting, negotiating and litigating employment agreements on behalf of large and small corporate clients. Mr. Hammock has also advised corporate executives negotiating retirement packages. Mr. Hammock has litigated unfair competition, trademark and copyright claims on behalf of companies ranging from small regional businesses to multi-national corporations. Mr. Hammock regularly appears in most of the trial courts on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Mr. Hammock is an active member of the United States District Court from the District of Maryland, and is also permitted to practice before the United States Appeals Court for the Federal Circuit.
