Jesse A. Ultz is a Manager in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group. Mr. Ultz has provided business valuation and financial advisory services to public and private businesses for numerous purposes including fairness opinions, solvency opinions, estate and gift taxation, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale advisement, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Subchapter C to Subchapter S conversions, equity compensation (SFAS 123R and IRC §409A), valuation discount opinions (FLP/FLLC), restricted stock and blockage discount opinions, management planning, financial reporting, and other tax, corporate, and litigation matters. Mr. Ultz has served a broad range of industries including advertising, aerospace, asset management, automobile dealerships, automotive suppliers, banking, business services, construction, consumer products, e-commerce, energy, financial services, food and beverage distribution, food products, forestry products, furniture, health care, information technology, manufacturing, printing and publishing, real estate brokerage, restaurants, retail, staffing, steel, transportation, and wholesale distribution. His experience spans a diverse client base, from regional middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises, private equity funds and hedge funds, law firms, accounting firms, and financial institutions. Mr. Ultz earned a BA in finance from Michigan State University graduating summa cum laude. Mr. Ultz has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and he is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Detroit. |
