Jerry Weinberg Founder, Chief Science Officer Jerry Weinberg, Ph.D., is co-founder and Chief Science Officer of CoalTek. Starting in 1998 and continuing until today, Dr. Weinberg has focused on the development and test of a new and innovative pre-burning process technology to improve the combustion properties of solid fuels (lead inventor, USPTO and PCT patents pending). Dr. Weinberg received a BS in Physics from St. Lawrence University and in 1963, a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Atmospheric Physics from the University of Colorado. Dr. Weinberg has published 160 papers in professional journals and books and has presented technical papers worldwide. He has developed and directed a wide variety of science and technology projects and has served in elected leadership positions in a number of U.S. and international professional organizations. Among his professional awards are the NASA Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement, the NASA Skylab Achievement Award, and the NASA Group Achievement Award. |
