Jerry Riordan is Chief Operating Officer of the Americas for CEVA Logistics. Appointed in July 2007, he assumes full P&L responsibility for CEVA’s logistics business in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and Latin America. Riordan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from Niagara University in 1971. Two years later, he received his MBA in Management and Economics from the University of Miami. In his career, Riordan has held senior leadership positions at a number of large companies in and related to the logistics industry. He spent the first 24 years of his career working for Miami-based Ryder, ultimately becoming president of two business units, namely Ryder Consumer Truck Rental and Ryder Student Transportation Services. After the sale of Ryder Consumer Truck Rental to a private equity investor, Riordan became President and COO of the new entity, renamed Ryder TRS. Riordan then became CEO of United Road Services and, for the last four years, has been President of Budget Truck Rental, based in Denver, where he led the turnaround of that business. |
