Dr. Gin received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Arizona, his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from Loyola College. He founded six successful companies including ChemTrak, Visionex, Oculex, and Hessa Medical. He is also involved in several new start up companies including Bennes and Chakshu, a company that has developed a new eye treatment drug. Gin co-authored 11 publications in the areas of: enzyme analysis in clinical chemistry, screening tests for erythocytic enzymes, mechanism of action of pyridoxal enzymes, active site of adenosine deaminase, and O-methylated nucleosides. He co-authored 12 patents in the areas of: shock absorbing plastic crutches, Schirmer Tear Test, tonometry, and drug delivery. |
