Jerry Champlin founded Absolute Performance in 1997. He is responsible for the strategic leadership of the company including guiding the continuous evolution of the System Shepherd Platform. In addition, Champlin serves as a trusted advisor to major clients on topics ranging from operations management best practices to technologies such as HandySoft’s BizFlow BPM solution and Lawson’s ERP solution. Absolute Performance evolved from Champlin's realization that mid-market businesses urgently need a fresh approach to high-availability systems monitoring and management, yet typically lack the expertise and significant funds necessary to develop and deliver such solutions. Champlin is deeply knowledgeable in design and implementation of high-availability systems architecture to meet precise business requirements. His expertise includes operating system, network, database, and application security and design, along with systems administration and management across a wide range of technical platforms, protocols and processes. Champlin has consulted on systems design and implementation for numerous companies across the US. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in physics from Carleton College and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. |
