Mr. Batt, former CIO and vice president of Sprint PCS, brings his strong understanding of customer service in the telecommunications market to KANA, helping to strengthen the company's position as a leading provider of knowledge-powered CRM applications optimized for specific industries. While at Sprint PCS Jerry was responsible for systems development for more than 200 applications, 3,000 people and $600 million in annual development investments and the integration and delivery of the Sprint PCS 3G Network. He led a complete infrastructure replacement program for Sprint PCS that included a leading edge billing, customer care and sales platform. Prior to joining Sprint, he co-founded and became CEO of Foxfire Consulting, an IT consulting and systems integration firm specializing in the telecommunications industry. Prior to Foxfire Consulting, Mr. Batt was responsible for AT&T's consumer long distance account management, billing and customer service platform. This platform supported more than 300 products and services, more than 8,000 customer service and sales reps, $25 billion in revenue and more than 80 million consumer accounts. |
