Jerry is an Of Counsel with Coats Rose, and brings a unique and diverse perspective to the Firm and the representation of its clients. While completing his law degree at the South Texas College of Law, he served as an editor for the Law Review and, as a Garland Walker Scholarship Recipient for Excellence in Oral Advocacy, Jerry won the American Bar Association National Moot Court Competition. He has twice has been appointed as a Special Master in complex commercial class actions involving insurance disputes. He was also recognized as a Rising Star/Texas Super Lawyer in 2005 and 2006. Jerry’s board certification in Personal Injury Trial Law and AV rating by Martindale-Hubble reflects his strong commitment to the representation of his clients. Jerry loves to play golf and still tries to play lacrosse, but his passion is spending time with his young daughters, Victoria and Grace. Practice Emphasis Jerry represents individuals, corporations, and insurance companies in matters involving negligence, products liability, general maritime and Jones Act, contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, professional malpractice, tortious interference and environmental torts. Jerry has also tried numerous matters to resolution through arbitration. |
