Jerry Farley has been the president of Washburn University since 1997. Between 1989 and 1997 and from 1972 to 1986, he held various administrative leadership positions, including vice president and professor of education, at the University of Oklahoma. Between 1986 and 1989 he was vice president for business and finance and professor of education at Oklahoma State University. He received a bachelor of science degree in 1968, an MBA in 1972 and a PhD in 1986 - all from the University of Oklahoma. He is on the boards of directors of various civic, corporate and philanthropic groups, including Red Cross, American Cancer Society, United Way and local and state chambers of commerce. |
