Jerry Taylor, MD serves as the Director of the Emergency Department at Alle-Kiski Medical Center effective September 1, 2003. Dr. Taylor had been the Assistant Director at Forbes Regional Hospital since October 2002. Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, in 1995. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Taylor has been working at Forbes Regional Hospital since 1999. He has been Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services as well as an Attending Staff Physician. Prior to working at Forbes Regional Hospital, Dr. Taylor was an Attending Physician at Mercy Hospital and Mercy Providence Hospital in Pittsburgh. He also worked for Holland America Lines as a Ship’s Physician, was a Flight Paramedic for the STAT MedEvac Helicopter Program for the Center for Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh and was a Paramedic for the City of Pittsburgh. Dr. Taylor is Residency Trained and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and Alpha Omega Alpha. |
