Jerome Eckenthal, partner emeritus of Friedman LLP, was a principal in Ehrenkrantz Sterling & Co. LLC. Jerome was among the founders of Ehrenkrantz and Company, which merged with Sterling, Nappen, Chavkin to become Ehrenkrantz Sterling & Co. LLC. He specialized in real estate, construction and acquisitions and was instrumental in the firm's success for over five decades. He continues to aid the firm's business development efforts through a network of contacts and referral sources.Jerome attended Rutgers University and graduated in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an Air Force veteran and served in the Pacific during World War II. He has previously been the Director of the Westfield Convalescence Center, Vice President and Trustee of the Kidney Fund of New Jersey, President and Member of the Board of Governors at Shackamaxon Country Club, Treasurer and Member of the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey, currently is Treasurer of the Central New Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged, and also served as Treasurer of the Elizabeth General Hospital Medical Center Foundation. |
