Jeroen Schuur holds a degree in Business Economics from the University in Groningen. Upon graduation, he served in the Royal Dutch Navy. At the start of his career, he held several management positions at KPN telecom, the national telecom provider, with recognition for his work with call centers and customer care services. He then joined Randstad, one of the largest staffing companies in the world, where he set up a specialized business unit for payroll services; one of the fastest growing segments of the company.

He became a regional director for Yacht, concentrating on hiring interim professionals. Subsequently, with Group4Falck, he was responsible for the security services and leading the integration of the Alarmcentres during the worldwide merger with Securicor.

Jeroen joined Signium International in early 2005. He lives with his wife and three children in Muiden, one of the smallest Dutch cities, near Amsterdam.
