Jeremy Medovoy is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Washington D.C. office. He is a member of the Trial Department, focusing his practice on complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts.
Jeremy represents and counsels clients in all stages of litigation and government investigations. He has experience on a wide variety of matters, including insurance coverage and reinsurance, patent infringement, commercial contract, and False Claims Act disputes. In 2006, Jeremy participated in a four-week jury trial, involving DRAM technology, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He successfully argued a motion to dismiss in Maryland state court on behalf of a client in the online travel business. Jeremy has also represented a pro bono client in a child custody dispute in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Before joining McDermott, Jeremy clerked for the Honorable Brook Hedge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He received his B.A., with honors and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Davis. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for Professor Paul Butler.
Jeremy is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia and District of Maryland.
