Jeremy Halpern is the Managing Director of Evolution Advisors, LLC, a Boston based strategic and transactional consultancy. Concurrently, Jeremy is serving as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for MobileTek Corporation, a developer of PC based applications enabling smarter mobility. Jeremy also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership at Tufts University, as a Director of The Capital Network and as a Mentor at MIT's Venture Mentoring Service. Previously, he has practiced law with Goodwin Procter and with Bingham McCutchen in Boston and at Irell & Manella in Los Angeles. Jeremy has assisted clients with numerous private equity, venture capital, angel and debt financing transactions (CoreLogic; FreeWave; SecureWorks; Stamps.com; eToys; WhatsHotNow; Eclipse Aviation). He has also assisted clients including TA Associates, Nova Capital, Boston Scientific, GE Capital and Accenture with buy-side acquisitions (Los Angeles Dodgers; Charter Cable; eDreams; Exigen; Zio; Rollease), and has advised clients in both asset based and equity sell side transactions (Photobition; the Boston Red Sox; RealityWave; Contact Network). Client projects include advising on strategic partnerships, commercial technology matters, outsource business development and corporate and strategic planning projects. Jeremy received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. While getting his B.A., at University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Halpern spent nearly two years as the Executive Chairman of a concert and special events production company. |
