Mr. Griffiths has held numerous executive leadership roles within several leading companies in the asset management and publishing industries for the past 20 years. He served as CFO, Executive Vice President and Executive Committee Member of OppenheimerFunds, Inc., one of the largest asset management companies in the world with over $130 billion in assets under management and $1.3 billion in revenues. While with OppenheimerFunds, he led over $500 million worth of acquisitions including those of Trinity Investment Management, Tremont Advisors and Gulf Investment Manager. Mr. Griffiths has helped develop and launch a variety of new financial products, including CDOs, hedge funds, mutual funds and managed accounts. Prior to OppenheimerFunds, Mr. Griffiths served as CFO of Thomson Corporation Publishing International, a diversified publishing and information business with $2.0 billion in revenues and 12,000 employees. In this capacity, he led 67 acquisitions (total value of over $1.3 billion) on behalf of Thomson. Mr. Griffiths is a Fellow (1975) and Associate (1972) of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of England & Wales and earned a B.Sc. with honors in Chemical Engineering from Exeter University in 1969. |
