Jeremy is a proven leader in marketing and value creation in the technology industry, with over 20 years of global experience in high growth environments. He has managed business activities throughout the value chain, addressing a diverse customer base of network operators, OEMs, integrators, system vendors, and component manufacturers in domestic and international markets. He also works with institutional clients in the US financial community as an independent technology analyst. One of Jeremy s recent consulting assignments has been at Mangrove Systems (Wallingford, CT), a company addressing network convergence and migration issues in the telecom sector. He has been actively involved with his client s entry into the North American and Asian markets, where his roles have included market planning and business development campaigns. He successfully secured regional distribution agreements with channel partners in Japan and Hong Kong, and early stage product deployments at network operators and service providers in the wireless and wireline sectors. Jeremy has over 20 years of global telecommunications experience, primarily related to the deployment of advanced communication systems based on technologies such as MPLS, IP, ATM, and Frame Relay. He held leadership roles in field marketing and system engineering at Net Core Systems and Cascade Communications, where he worked with a top-tier customer base of network operators and service providers. He was also a co-founder of Essient Photonics, a supplier of optical subsystems. Jeremy started his career in telecommunications as a software engineer on X.25 subsystems for customers such as BT. He is an active member of the IEEE Communications and LEOS societies, and of the Optical Society of America. Jeremy has a Bachelor s degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Bath University (UK), and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. |
