Jeremy M. Wolfe, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wolfe brings to Altergy a deep history in finance and technology, having spent over 15 years in executive-level financial management, private equity, investment banking, and high-tech manufacturing.
Mr. Wolfe’s experience includes many years in private equity at both ABS Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs. ABS Capital is a leading private equity fund with over $1.5 billion under management and offices in San Francisco, Boston and Baltimore, investing in mid- to late-stage expansion financing, recapitalization, and buyout opportunities across a number of sectors, including energy and technology. As a senior member of the west coast office, he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments, as well as working closely with the executive teams of both private and public portfolio companies in strategic, operational and financial planning. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Wolfe was part of the principal investment group, which manages well over $30 billion in private capital, driving investments and helping to manage the firm’s portfolio on the west coast in the technology sector.
Mr. Wolfe was also the Chief Financial Officer at Found, Inc., a retail/CPG-focused enterprise software company providing real-time inventory and supply management solutions, and backed by Accel/KKR and Bain Capital. At Found, he was responsible for the company’s business development activities as well as management of all financial and capital raising strategy and planning. He also spent several years in investment banking at both Goldman Sachs and Robertson Stephens, driving a broad range of financing, M&A, and restructuring transactions for clients in the technology, communications and services industries. He began his career at Intel Corporation, working in areas such as commodity/supply chain management and systems development.
Mr. Wolfe earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with High Distinction (top 5%). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Mechanical Engineering and Management Information Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
