Practice
A partner based in the New York office and a member of the International Corporate Department, M&A Practice Group and Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice Group, Mr. Mulligan has been with the Firm since 1970. He has extensive experience with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions including the acquisition, sale, merger or other corporate restructuring and reorganization primarily on a negotiated basis, of public and private corporations and other entities.
In his business and corporate law practice, he has acted as general counsel to various public and private corporations. He has represented clients in the preparation and negotiation of various types of contracts including: transfer of technology agreements; employment contracts; software licensing; petroleum-related agreements; financing agreements; joint venture agreements; and distributorship agreements. He has had extensive experience in all aspects of the retail department store industry.
Mr. Mulligan recently completed a book chapter entitled Inside the Minds: Life Sciences Mergers and Acquisitions which is scheduled to be published in the first quarter of 2008. Mr. Mulligan is admitted to the Bars of the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United States District Court for Southern District of New York, United States Tax Court, United States Court of Claims and State of New York.
