Jere Drummond is the retired Vice-Chairman of BellSouth Corporation, a $26 billion dollar full service telecommunications provider. As Vice-Chairman, he was responsible for public relations, advertising, brand management, and regulatory and external affairs. During Mr. Drummond's 39-year career at Bellsouth, he held roles of increasing responsibility that spanned all functional areas such as finance, operations, regulatory and general management. His most recent role prior to becoming Vice Chairman was as President and Chief Executive Officer of BellSouth Communications Group where he oversaw all of the company's regulated telephone operations. Mr. Drummond graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and he holds master's degrees from Georgia State and the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Drummond is a Director of several community service and corporate Boards. |
