Jennifer Thamer is a Client Executive at James Lee Witt Associates, where her responsibilities include client services, project coordination, and business development. She works closely with clients on projects to minimize or prevent the economic, physical and cultural damage that can be caused by disasters. She has coordinated projects with state and local governments, private sector companies, and colleges and universities to train executives and staff on the principals of emergency management; to develop public-private partnerships; to create emergency operations, hazard mitigation and business continuity plans; and, to conduct business impact and hazard vulnerability analyses.
Her current clients have included the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, one of the largest public universities in Virginia, and a top-tier medical school. Recently, she helped lead the subcommittee for special needs populations on the project to review emergency preparedness efforts in the City of Philadelphia. Her business development responsibilities include working with future partners and clients; developing proposals; and, preparing and delivering presentations on disaster preparedness.
Jennifer received her B.A. with honors from Indiana University. She resides currently in Denver, Colorado. |
