Jennifer Stratman joined Carlyle Group’s Real Estate Practice in the role of Vice President in October 2005. A fifteen-year veteran of commercial real estate finance, Jennifer’s responsibilities as Vice President include client relationship management, search execution, and business development. Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Jennifer held positions with large national banks (Nations Bank and Bank of America) and commercial credit companies (Heller Financial and Westinghouse Credit). During her tenure with these organizations, Jennifer acquired extensive experience in originating, negotiating and underwriting value-added debt, mezzanine, credit enhancements and conduit loans on existing, to-be-built, transitional properties. Additional areas of experience include credit, asset, portfolio and securitization management. Jennifer received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Finance. She is an active committee member of her local United Way and is active in Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). |
