Jennifer Love Scott serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Charlotte, NC office. Prior to joining DHR International, Jennifer worked with Springs Global US, Inc., a home furnishings company headquartered in South Carolina. As Vice President of Human Resources Development, she led all corporate organizational development initiatives (talent acquisition/management, succession planning, leadership development strategies, diversity, competency modeling, etc.), rewards and recognition, high potential programs, MBA and undergraduate college recruiting, EEO/Affirmative Action, HRIS and college/university relations. During her tenure with Springs, she also led the Quality initiative as Vice President of Quality Systems, was Director of Development and Administrative Personnel, Manager of Compensation and Personnel Information Center, and held various positions in the information technology department. Jennifer has had significant experience at the corporate level working with organizations leading process improvement initiatives via process mapping, eliminating unnecessary and redundant work, and developing performance standards for improvement; developing and administering employee attitude surveys; developing competency models to be used for recruiting, for developing individuals and teams, and for determining best candidates for promotions; and executive coaching. Additionally, she provided human resources leadership of a generalist nature to sales/marketing, IT, finance, retail stores, and Canada. Prior to Springs, Jennifer worked with the Florida Board of Regents, the University of Florida and the Florida Department of Transportation in information technology roles with increasing responsibility. Jennifer is a Certified Diversity Professional, a Certified Compensation Professional and has certifications in executive coaching, organizational development, Lominger competency tools. DiSC and various 360 instruments. Additionally, she attended Agnes Scott College, received her BA degree with a mathematics major from the University of Florida, and attended The Executive Program at Darden (University of Virginia). She is a member of Women Executives in Charlotte where she has chaired the Recruiting Team, the Orientation Team and the WINGS Mentors; is on the Women Executives for Community Service (WECS) Board; is on the Board of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Centers where she has been Treasurer and is currently First Vice President and leads the Organizational Development Team and the Program Development Team; is a Board Member of the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN); and is a Stephen Minister/Leader with her Church where she had responsibility for Ministry Development. Jennifer has one son, Stephen Hunter Scott, who is a graduate student in evolutionary psychology. |
