When Jen joined the agency in 1991, it was a small Connecticut-based shop. Within just a few years, while simultaneously earning her MBA at Columbia, Jen became a partner, opened the New York office and began attracting the world-class clients that would define the agency. Fueled by her wide-ranging interests, incredible drive and desire for perfection, Jen thrived as a 24-hour-a-day powerhouse. Clients, colleagues and friends all grew accustomed to e-mails sent at 2, 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning. Under her leadership, Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek became a leading international public relations and financial communications consultancy. And while some successful business leaders are one-man or one-woman shows, Jen is naturally collaborative, a seeker and nurturer of talent. She inspires her staff, many of whom have been with the company for many years, and her clients. Jen works with clients to spark their creative potential and help them identify and articulate the qualities that make their businesses special. Then she and the CJP staff take those unique qualities and tell the world about them -- through innovative and targetedpublic relations programs. And if you’re up for a drink or a nice dinner out, Jen would be happy to join you (and probably pick up the check.) She’ll even abstain from answering her cell phone or firing off e-mails on her BlackBerry. Because whether you’re a client, a friend or a colleague, Jen understands that public relations, like life, is all about making strong, meaningful connections. |
