Jennifer S. Burke concentrates her practice in the representation and counsel of employers in Workers Compensation claims. She routinely participates on site in safety and loss run meetings as advisory counsel to loss prevention, risk management and liability issues. Clients include security, construction, transportation, commercial distribution, paper goods, retail grocery, food processing and meat packing industry employers, insurers and third party administrators. Ms. Burke is particularly experienced in analyzing the need for and preparation of Medicare Set-Aside Agreements, which entails coordination of benefits between multiple parties while protecting the rights of employers and insurers as secondary payors. She recently published an article on the topic in the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Committee News (Fall/Winter 2007). |
