Jennifer L. Vallier is a shareholder in the firm's Milwaukee office and a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. She counsels clients on a variety of real estate matters including leasing, sales and acquisitions, property development, tax-deferred exchanges, and financing. Jennifer regularly represents financial institutions in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, national branch development and leasing, and the sale of OREO property. Jennifer has extensive expertise in construction law and the development of commercial property. In particular, she has drafted and negotiated numerous construction and architectural design contracts on behalf of owners and contractors, including both rehabilitation projects and new construction. Such projects include elementary school and college campus renovations, rehabilitation of historic central city retail space into a multi-use facility, new construction of high-rise office buildings, corporate headquarters development, and various construction and renovation projects relating to health care, assisted living and medical research facilities. She has also given presentations to client groups and trade organizations on construction contract negotiation and risk management. Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at Nebraska Wesleyan University, graduating with highest distinction. She was elected to the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi and attended a semester at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba, Australia as an exchange student. Jennifer earned her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1996.
Jennifer is an active member of Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the ABA Forum on Construction.
