Jennifer Sanscrainte concentrates her practice on environmental, federal Indian and municipal law, with a special emphasis on water law, hazardous waste cleanups under CERCLA and MTCA, environmental insurance claims, and environmental claims in bankruptcy.
In addition, she has commercial litigation experience as both plaintiffs’ and defense counsel for various matters, including CERCLAL/MTCA cost-recovery actions, breach of contract and Consumer Protection Act claims, as well as disputes involving general liability and title insurance coverage.
I always wanted to work on environmental issues, and I have the opportunity to not only help individuals, but to affect public policy. At Short Cressman, I’m able to work with the top people in my field on tribal issues, Indian law, and environmental law.
For Jennifer, client service is very much a team effort. In my view, problem-solving is not just about solving a client’s immediate problem but helping them find long term solutions. I enjoy being part of the client’s team, where we’re all working toward a common goal.
Washington Law and Politics magazine selected Jennifer Sanscrainte as a "Rising Star" for 2008. |
