Jennifer Kalnins Temple is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Orange County office. As a member of the Firm’s Trial Department and Environmental Group, Jennifer focuses her practice on complex litigation matters and multi-party mass tort cases.
Jennifer has particular experience defending corporations in complex commercial, toxic tort and products liability litigation matters. She currently represents a multinational petroleum company in a mass tort, product liability multidistrict litigation in the Southern District of New York.
During law school, Jennifer was a member of Downtown Legal Services (DLS), a poverty law clinic operated by U of T’s Faculty of Law. Through DLS, Jennifer represented clients in criminal matters. While attending law school, Jennifer also completed the Environmental Studies Collaborative Program for graduate students through U of T’s Centre for Environment. She was awarded the Laskin Prize in Constitutional Law from the University of Toronto in 2000.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in the state of New York. Her admission to practice in California is pending.
