Jennifer Contegiacomo is an associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in New York. She is a member of the Environmental Practice Group and the Corporate Department.
Since 2003 she has managed the settlement of more than 200,000 asbestos-related personal injury claims under multiple settlement agreements with more than 160 plaintiff firms for a Fortune 100 company. Jennifer manages a team of up to 50 legal professionals, prepares comprehensive approval, deficiency, status, indemnity and cash flow reports and interfaces closely with in-house legal, finance and compliance staff, as well as insurers and reinsurers.
Jennifer’s earlier experience included large international mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings involving both equity and high yield debt securities, licensing agreements, joint ventures and shareholders agreements, as well as general commercial transactions. In this capacity, she worked with clients in a wide range of industries including electronic commerce, fashion apparel, manufacturing, packaging, solid waste management and recycling, mining, telecommunications, biotechnology and healthcare..
During law school, Jennifer was an articles editor for the Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Association and the recipient of the C.V. Starr Scholarship.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
