Dr. Girod is a member of the firm’s Health & Life Sciences and Business Law Practice Groups and focuses her practice on regulatory compliance, business transactions, and policy analysis. She also serves as a core faculty member of the Indiana University Center for Bioethics, working on legal and policy issues related to predictive health and genetic research. Before attending law school, Dr. Girod was an assistant professor at the Center for the Study of Bioethics, Medical College of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, a Research Associate at The Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions in Bloomington, Indiana, and visiting professor at Indiana University. She also directed policy research for Medicaid reform for state representative David Orentlicher. |
