Jeffrey Whitehead is Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Internet Operations at Shutterfly, overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of the company’s website including systems, networks, data centers, and our extensive Image Archive of customer images. Jeffrey joined Shutterfly in 2005 through the acquisition of Memory Matrix Inc., the company he co-founded to develop advanced technologies in digital imaging.
An operations engineer with more than 12 years of technology and team leadership, Jeffrey was a Director of Operations with Shopping.com and had a leadership role in the initial implementation of services, operations budget, and overall operational architecture and processes. Prior to Shopping.com, Jeffrey was a key contributor to the design and operation of large scale web sites such as Netscape, Epinions.com, and Knowledge Universe.
