Jeffrey Blomsness was raised in Wisconsin and moved to Illinois in 1973. All Star Amusement was formed in December of 1974 by Jeffrey and his wife, Patricia. All Star Amusement was family-owned until December of 2004 when it became part of a merger with three other major shows forming North American Midway Entertainment. All Star Amusement Co., Inc is proud to be part of the largest midway entertainment company in the nation.
Jeffrey Blomsness has long been actively involved in organizations promoting safety and professional standards within the amusement industry. He has generated millions of dollars for not-for-profit organizations throughout the United States. Jeffrey was the President of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association (OABA) in 2000 and currently serves on their Executive Board. In 2002, he was elected as the President of the Showmen’s League of America. Jeffery was appointed to the Illinois Festival Hall of Fame by the Illinois Festival Association, served on the Board of Directors for Variety Club International, and the Advisory Board of County Fairs and Horse Racing for the Illinois Department of Labor.
In 2003 he was awarded the Illinois Friends of County Fairs award at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fair Convention.
Another interest that Jeffrey has is the Boy Scouts of America Jeff is a former Vice President, Eagle Scout and Director of the North West Suburban Council (Illinois). Jeff now resides in South Barrington, IL with his wife, Patricia. |
