Jeffrey Bernstein received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Yeshiva University in 1978, and his M.B.A., with distinction, from the New York Institute of Technology in 1983. Mr. Bernstein is a 1988 graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. He was admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1988, the State of New York in 1989, the United States Supreme Court in 1992, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in 1994. Mr. Bernstein’s practice concentration is in the area of creditors' rights and creditors' rights in bankruptcy.
Mr. Bernstein is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and its Creditor and Debtor Relations Section, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He also serves on the District VA (Essex County-Newark) Ethics Committee. |
