He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. From 1980 through 1996, Mr. Bernel held the offices of Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Rubber Products Corporation of LaPorte, IN. He has extensive experience in the original equipment manufacturer markets both nationally and internationally. In 1998, Mr. Bernel joined the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Notre Dame as Co-Director, Professional Specialist where he is also a faculty member in the Department of Management and teaches undergraduate level courses in corporate strategy and entrepreneurship, along with an M.B.A. - level course in entrepreneurship. Mr. Bernel was also the Chairman of the Board of Nuron from mid-1999 to 2001. In addition to Coaxsys, he currently serves on the boards of American Rubber Products Corp., Bremen Castings, Inc., and Racetown, LLC. |
