Mr. Balfour was a co-founder of TranSend, Inc. (TranSend), a leading database marketing company, where he served as the company’s CFO. Prior to co-founding TranSend, Mr. Balfour held positions within the controller's group of D. E. Shaw & Co. ("D. E. Shaw"), an investment banking firm in New York City. At D. E.
