Jeffrey Anapolsky joined American Capital in January 2006 and is a Vice President for the Special Situations Group in the Bethesda office. He serves on the boards of American Capital portfolio companies Paradigm Precision Holdings LLC, The Algoma Group and Pan Am International Flight Academy.
Previously, Mr. Anapolsky spent eight years in transactional roles, including five years focusing exclusively on special situations. As an investor with Sun Capital Partners, he targeted control equity stakes in turnarounds. As an investment banker with Wasserstein Perella & Co. (now Miller Buckfire & Co.), he advised debt-for-equity conversions, asset sales, and refinancings. As an attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, he advised creditors’ committees, debtors, acquirers and individual creditors in complex Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts. Mr. Anapolsky began his career at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in Investment Banking.
