Mr. Seely founded ShareBuilder Securities in 1999 and currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of ShareBuilder Corporation and ShareBuilder Securities Corporation. Prior to ShareBuilder, Mr. Seely served as a senior investment banker at Robertson Stephens & Co., a global securities and investment banking firm and held senior banking positions at Dean Witter Reynolds and Smith Barney.
Mr. Seely holds a BA degree in economics from St. Lawrence University and a MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a Trustee on the Washington State Investment Board, which oversees the management of over $60 billion of retirement assets for state employees, and is a member of the Private Markets Committee there. Mr. Seely is also Board President of the UW World Series for the Performing Arts (Meany Hall, University of Washington) and a Board member of the National Association of Corporate Directors NW. He is a former Trustee and Vice President, Executive Committee of The Seattle Opera. |
