As senior vice president, Human Resources, ABC, Inc., Jeffrey S. Rosen is responsible for the full range of human resources services for all of the Disney ABC Media Networks television, radio, non-sports cable, syndication, distribution and publishing businesses, both domestically and internationally. This includes employee development, compensation, organization development, employee relations, diversity, recruitment, communications and operations.
Previously Mr. Rosen was vice president, Human Resources, ABC, Inc., a position he’d held since March 1996. He joined ABC in February 1982 as general attorney, Employment Practices. He was promoted to senior general attorney, Employment Practices, in November 1983 and to vice president, Litigation and Employment Practices, in April 1986.
Mr. Rosen began his legal career in Philadelphia as an assistant district attorney. He subsequently served as an assistant regional attorney with the Philadelphia Regional Litigation Center of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Immediately prior to joining ABC, he worked at NBC for seven years as an assistant general attorney. He graduated from Temple University with a BA, and received his JD from Temple University School of Law.
Mr. Rosen is member of the Board of Directors of the San Fernando Valley Economic Alliance, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emma Bowen Foundation, and serves on the Employee Relations Panel of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He has served in the past as an Honorary Trustee of AWRT (American Women in Radio and Television), as member of the Board of Directors of MHRA (Media Human Resource Association) and member of the Corporate Advisory Committee for the National Minority Business Council.
Mr. Rosen and his wife, Jill, live in Los Angeles. They have two grown children.
