Jeffrey S. Kilrea age 46 is the co-president of the Corporate Finance Business of CapitalSource Inc. (NYSE: CSE) a leading commercial lending investment and asset management business focused on the middle market. As of June 30 2007 CapitalSource managed a $20.1 billion portfolio of owned and managed assets.
Mr. Kilrea has over 23 years experience in leveraged lending focusing on a multitude of industries. He has been with CapitalSource approximately five years and currently serves as the co-president of the Corporate Finance Business. While at CapitalSource Mr. Kilrea has been the managing director of the Media and Communications specialty lending group as well as their Sponsor Finance initiative. Prior to joining CapitalSource Mr. Kilrea was a senior vice president with GE Capital via their acquisition of Heller Financial where he lead Heller's re-entry into the Media and Communications lending space. He began his career at Heller Financial spending time in the Factoring Asset-Based and Sponsor Finance divisions. He then joined FINOVA Capital Corporation to assist in the start-up of their Media and Communications Group where he was responsible for building a portfolio of $1.0 billion and later served as senior vice president and group head. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1983 with a B.S. in finance. |
